Donation 70 Laptops to 3 organisations

J Trust Royal Bank donated 70 reusable laptops on 04 August 2023 to three organizations to fulfill different good causes as well as made align with J Trust Royal Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility of “Uplifting Literacy for the Growth of Cambodia”.

The laptops have been donated to respected organizations:

• 20 laptops to This Life of Cambodia and will be used to help boost computer literacy for the beneficiaries of the “This Life In Schools” program.
• 20 laptops to CEDO Organization bases in Siem Reap province, to support a group of underprivileged students in their university assignment. A computer with the internet is the most powerful device that students can use to learn new skills and develop career development.
• 30 laptops were donated to Tech for Kids Academy under the Computer of Change project to support 'Old to You, New to Me' Campaign Round 2 aims to support underprivileged students in 10 target cities/provinces in Cambodia to improve their learning through technology and access online learning remotely.

These reusable laptops respond to the evolving approach to education as technology will equip beneficiaries with digital skills for their development personally and professionally.
