Financial literacy has long been a cornerstone of J Trust Royal Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)​​ mission. Our continued participation in the Cambodia Book Fair since 2018 underscores our unwavering commitment to empowering communities through education and knowledge-sharing.

During the four-day event​ (11-14 December 2025), the Read • Play • Learn Corner by J Trust Royal Bank welcomed participants of all ages, transforming the space into a vibrant learning hub where education and discovery harmonised. This year, the Bank introduced a range of new and meaningful activities designed not only to entertain, but also to enhance financial awareness through fun, interactive experiences.

In addition to ongoing daily engagement activities, J Trust Royal Bank organized special daily highlight events to create excitement and deepen audience engagement. These included Face Painting, Meet & Greet with Arun, and a Sudoku Competition, all of which attracted enthusiastic participation from visitors throughout the fair.

A key highlight of the Read • Play • Learn Corner was the introduction of specially designed financial literacy games, aimed at delivering practical financial knowledge in an accessible way:

  • Financial Literacy Quiz – Participants answered real-life financial questions to test their understanding and win prizes.
  • Word Search Challenge– Participants identified essential banking and financial terms, reinforcing key concepts through interactive play.
  • “Who Spends Less” Game– An in-house game developed by the J Trust Royal Bank team, conveying important messages on smart spending, avoiding impulse buying, understanding needs versus wants, and promoting the use of the Khmer Riel.

Visitors who participated in these activities were rewarded with books and attractive prizes, reinforcing the strong connection between literacy, knowledge, and long-term financial well-being.
